Behind E.Leclerc is the leading European movement of independent retailers, whose fundamental principle is defending consumer purchasing power by offering the lowest prices on the market. The philosophy of the E.Leclerc Movement is based on combining a business project with a social project, becoming involved and participating in the community life of each of the towns where we operate, thereby contributing to their economic development. In addition to our pricing policy, our principles include solidarity, respect for the environment, and the promotion of fair trade. We arrived in Spain in 1992 and currently have 18 hypermarkets and a workforce of 2,827 employees. We are present in the Community of Madrid (with 8 stores in Aranjuez, Vallecas, Pinto, Carabanchel, Alcobendas, Majadahonda, Valdemoro, and Fuenlabrada), Pamplona, Ciudad Real, Soria, León, Salamanca, Miranda de Ebro, Vitoria, Trujillo, Almendralejo, and Murcia.
