Our Group
Mission
We are committed to the pursuit of EXCELLENCE because only in this way do we earn the trust of our customers every day.
We have a conciliatory spirit that seeks BALANCE between the autonomy of our affiliates and our shared project, allowing local, national, and international suppliers to coexist.
We are firmly committed to INNOVATION throughout the value chain, always promoting free consumer choice.
Vision
The goal of Grupo IFA is to become the BEST DISTRIBUTION GROUP IN SOUTHERN EUROPE, made up of members who are all benchmark companies in their regions, supported by a head office that leads in service development, innovation, and added value for all elements of the chain.
We have embarked on an ambitious journey to transform the purchasing center into a TRUE DISTRIBUTION GROUP that operates in those areas where we can provide the most value together, without losing the unique qualities that define each company in the Group.
Our ultimate aim is to become a true agent of change in a sector in need of momentum and balance, with a focus on CREATING VALUE AND PURSUING GROWTH AND EMPLOYMENT in our market.
Values
Proximity
Our points of sale spread across the country truly represent this value, allowing us to be ALWAYS CLOSE TO OUR CUSTOMERS, both in large cities and small towns. This proximity is further enhanced by a deep understanding of consumers, their needs, and desires, which is also reflected in Grupo IFA’s agreements with LOCAL SUPPLIERS, especially for fresh products.
Variety
To meet every need, we offer a universal assortment with the WIDEST RANGE OF PRODUCTS, MANUFACTURERS, AND PRICES, from the most innovative products of major brands to our own retail brand. This is key to achieving maximum satisfaction in the shopping experience, as we firmly believe in free choice to satisfy all the tastes and needs of our customers.
Quality
For 57 years, we have strived to meet market demands, working with suppliers and brands that best satisfy our customers’ quality standards. In our stores, fresh products prevail, GUARANTEEING TOP-QUALITY RAW MATERIALS as a result of our intensive activity in the best fish markets to find the freshest fish, in local markets for just-picked fruits and vegetables, and in the most prestigious livestock farms in each region.
Versatility
Our sales outlets come in all sizes, from convenience stores to large hypermarkets, in both small towns and big cities. We have international, national, and local suppliers.
Because what defines us is not our origin or size, but a COMMON WAY OF BEING AND UNDERSTANDING OF OUR WORK.
Innovation
Innovation has always been part of Grupo IFA’s DNA. We were the first to develop the Cash & Carry concept and branch network in Spain, as well as PIONEERS in the use of barcode scanners and the implementation of the EDI system. Since our beginnings, we have supported suppliers’ efforts to add value to different categories through innovation, and we work to develop a distribution model that meets the EXPECTATIONS OF CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
Balance
The strength of the Group enables us to combine the autonomy and independent management of our member companies with a COHESION PROJECT THAT BENEFITS EVERYONE. Furthermore, we know how to maintain a balance between local and national suppliers to offer consumers greater freedom of choice.
Trust
Trust is one of the fundamental values behind the most authentic and lasting relationships, and we WORK ON IT EVERY DAY, THROUGH OUR CLOSENESS and the quality of our offering, which ensures that customers, suppliers, and partners trust in the success model of Grupo IFA.

Our purpose
The client is at the heart of Grupo IFA. All our efforts are aimed at providing the best service, which is why more and more shoppers choose us.
We adapt our product ranges to consumer demand, maintaining the quality and safety they deserve. We strive to ensure our supermarkets meet their consumption needs efficiently, quickly, and comfortably, and we launch ongoing promotions in collaboration with suppliers that are very well received.
Grupo IFA’s commitment to new technologies also contributes to our strong relationship with customers. Our partners have developed online sales channels and updated payment methods to the latest trends.
All this explains the success of the “IFA formula”: according to Kantar Worldpanel, more than one out of every two Spanish shoppers buys at Grupo IFA supermarkets. Their recognition is our greatest satisfaction.
Working hand in hand for a better future
At Grupo IFA, we believe our suppliers are fundamental to our success. They are our strongest partners in developing initiatives that enable us to meet consumers’ needs more effectively and efficiently.
Proximity is at the heart of Grupo IFA’s identity and shapes the way we contribute to the development of the communities in which we operate. Our retail model ensures access to a high-quality, local food offering across the country, helping to strengthen territorial cohesion and maintain essential services for thousands of people.
Today, one in every four Grupo IFA stores is located in municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants, while our network reaches 82% of the Spanish population. This extensive footprint enables us to play a significant role in rural areas and lower-density communities, where neighbourhood retail remains a vital driver of both economic activity and social wellbeing.
We also continue to promote solutions such as ViaCash, which allow customers to withdraw and deposit cash in store, supporting financial inclusion in municipalities where access to traditional banking services has declined significantly.
Looking ahead, we remain committed to fostering supplier-led innovation while safeguarding consumers’ freedom of choice across brands and product formats, creating value for every stakeholder and, ultimately, for society as a whole.
